Built by Kenyans, for Kenya.
Kenya has thousands of licensed mental health practitioners, and many of them are running their practices on WhatsApp, spreadsheets and paper files — while navigating KRA eTIMS, SHA claims, CPD renewals and Data Protection Act obligations they were never trained to handle.
Sahili Mind exists to make that sahili. Simple.
The problem we’re working on
A typical private-practice psychologist in Nairobi spends evenings chasing M-Pesa confirmations, generating invoices by hand, filing paper claim forms and keeping session notes in notebooks that can never be searched. CPD deadlines get missed because nothing is tracking them.
Foreign practice-management tools are priced in USD, don’t support M-Pesa, and have never heard of eTIMS or SHA. Kenyan practitioners are stuck between software built for somewhere else and a regulatory environment that is distinctly Kenyan.
Sahili Mind is the bridge — one simple system, built for this market.
What guides us
Practitioners first
Every feature starts with a practitioner's real problem. We build by talking to Kenyan psychologists, counsellors and psychiatrists — not by guessing.
Kenya-specific
We're not porting foreign software and calling it localised. Sahili Mind is designed ground-up for M-Pesa, KRA eTIMS, SHA and Kenya's Data Protection Act.
Client dignity
Mental health carries real stigma in Kenya. We treat client data with the highest level of protection — encryption, audit trails and strict access controls.

We’re building this early, in the open.
Sahili Mind is pre-launch. If you’re a practitioner curious about what we’re building, we’d genuinely like to hear from you.
